Mobile Thai Massage in Vancouver

One of the most common questions I am asked about Thai Massage is "What is the difference between it and traditional North American Massage?" The answer I have come to is that Thai massage is more thorough.  I use Acupressure and massage combined with breathing and assisted yoga like stretching to release toxins from unused areas and promote positive energy (chi) and blood flow throughout the entire body.  I like to refer to it as spring cleaning for the whole body.  Do you ever notice when you don't sweep your floor how the low traffic areas build up with dust?  The same thing happens in our bodies.  Weather you are training  for sport or just living life, Thai massage is a great idea if you aren't always able to get all your stretching done and as a preventative measure against daily aches and pains.  My naturopathic doctor became a client of mine just after I opened the White Rock studio in 2007.  We became friends and he took me in as one of his patients.  I visit his home every three weeks to give him a two hour treatment.  His body is usually in very good shape, however he notes that he can feel aches and pains coming on if he goes longer than three weeks without treatment.  Thai massage has been practiced for over 2500 years. Our White Rock Location was nominated for best new business of the year in 2008 by the South Surrey/White Rock Chamber of Commerce and has continued to gain a reputation as a place of solitude, and great healing power and advice on a healthy lifestyle.

I have a mobile Thai massage business here in Vancouver which I started in march of 2010.  I am pleased to offer my services in the comfort and convenience of your own home.  I will bring my own mat with bedding and pillows which requires 4 feet by 8 feet of room.  I usually just move the coffee table and do the massage in the living room.  My clients are most comfortable (and it's easiest for me) when they wear yoga/gym type clothes for the massage so that they can be comfortable and flexible.  I prefer bottoms without pockets and tops without collars.  My minimum time for a session is 90 minutes for a rate of $90. I recommend 2 hours at $120 for a first treatment for the most thorough assessment.  I am very reasonable and spend time over and above time spent doing massage to go through a series of stretches and or exercises which you can do on your own between sessions to make your pain subside and make life easier.  I am also willing to offer special package pricing on block bookings and have gift certificates available.  What better way to say you care than to give the gift of healing.
